Here is my latest :-

True Thomas

by Tina Rath

Break an apple from the bough
Tell me what it’s worth:
Half for heaven, half for hell,
A leaf for Middle Earth.

Middle Earth is green and gold
Grass and fruit and corn
Stand outside the garden gate
Curse the hour you’re born.

Pluck a red rose from the briar
Pluck it if you dare
All around the Middle Earth –
The Kingdom of the Air.

The Kingdom it is black and red
Night and blood and fire
Bitten apple, fading rose
Name your heart’s desire.

Underneath the apple tree
Earth and air are one
Flower and fruit and praying hand
Lift towards the sun.
